Take your time. Nothing here can break. This takes about ten minutes. If you get stuck at any point, stop. Send us what you have or nothing at all, then we sort the rest together on the phone.
1
Check your email first, it is the easy way
1
Open your emails. That is the app where your emails arrive, usually called Mail, Gmail, Outlook or Hotmail.
2
Find the search box at the top. It has a small magnifying glass. Tap it and type BT bill then press search.
3
Look for an email saying your bill is ready. Real BT emails come from an address ending bt.com.
BT itself says do not click links in billing emails, because fake BT emails are common. Use the email only to see that a bill exists. Then type the address yourself in Part 2, which is the safe way in.
2
Log in and download the bill
1
Open the internet (Safari, Chrome or Edge). Tap the long box at the very top of the screen, type bt.com/mybt then press Go.
2
Sign in with your BT ID. That is just your email address and a password. Forgotten the password? Click the forgotten password link and they email you a link to set a new one. That is normal, most people do it.
3
Click Your bills and usage.
4
Your bills shows the newest one. Your bill history shows older ones.
5
Next to the bill you want, click Download as a PDF. It saves a copy to your phone or computer.
BT only keeps bills online for 15 months, so a very old bill will not be there. The newest one is all we need anyway.
3
Send it to us, whichever way you like
WhatsAppSend a photo of the bill or the downloaded file to 01274 911249
Our websiteGo to billboffin.co.uk, fill in the short form and attach the bill at the end
Cannot find the bill at all? That is fine, honestly. Get in touch anyway. We take the details over the phone and you do not need a single piece of paper.
Keep yourself safeWe will never ask for your password or your bank details. Nobody genuine ever does. Your password is yours alone, so do not share it with anyone, including us.
