Check your email first, it is the easy way

Open your emails. That is the app where your emails arrive, usually called Mail, Gmail, Outlook or Hotmail.

Find the search box at the top. It has a small magnifying glass. Tap it and type EDF then press search.

Look for an email about your bill or your account. Check who sent it: a real one comes from an address ending edfenergy.com.
The email is usually not the bill itself. It just tells you a bill is ready. The bill lives in your online account, so carry on to Part 2. And if the sender's address ends in anything other than edfenergy.com, do not click it.

Log in and download the bill

Open the internet (Safari, Chrome or Edge). Tap the long box at the very top of the screen, type edfenergy.com then press Go.

Click Log in in the top corner. It may say MyAccount.

Sign in with your email address and password. Forgotten the password? Click the forgotten password link and they email you a link to set a new one. That is normal, most people do it.

Open the page called Account Activity. That is where EDF keeps your statements and bills.

Open the newest one, then press Download. It saves a copy to your phone or computer, usually into a folder called Downloads.
Pay by Direct Debit? You may see statements rather than a bill every month. A statement does the same job, send the newest one.

Keep yourself safeWe will never ask for your password or your bank details. Nobody genuine ever does. Your password is yours alone, so do not share it with anyone, including us.
